May-July Free eye exams - Throughout June and July, eight Cobb County Public Library locations will become centers for vision care, hosting Vision To Learn mobile clinics. Children ages 5-18 can undergo comprehensive eye exams and receive prescription glasses at no cost. Reserve a spot for a Vision to Learn appointment now before the schedule fills up. |

Wednesday, May 15 Wine, dine, and everything will be fine at Wine Down Wednesdays at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre, 5239 Floyd Rd, Mableton. On May 15, treat yourself to some fine country tunes starting at 7 p.m. featuring Homegrown - the Zac Brown Band Experience. The concert begins at 7 p.m. Bring your own food or purchase at the venue. The library book stacks will be transformed into a mini golf course, spanning the entire building with 19 unique holes to drop into. There will be prizes for kids.
